Our development program built to take newer players to the next level.

Whether your son just finished his first rec season or recently picked up a stick and is hungry for more — Launch is the next step. This is where effort meets opportunity. Our mission is simple: to help motivated boys bridge the gap between beginner lacrosse and club-level play.

At South Bay Lacrosse, we believe that with the right coaching, structure, and support, any player can elevate their game. Launch is where that journey starts.

What is Launch?
Launch is our intro-to-club training program, designed to build the fundamental skills, game knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in competitive boys’ lacrosse.

Our sessions are fast-paced, energetic, and focused on development — specifically built for boys who:

Have some experience (rec, PE, or backyard lacrosse)
Are ready to commit to learning and improving
Are curious about club-level lacrosse or plan to try out for LA Select or other teams

What We Focus On:
Every session, our experienced coaches help players develop:

Core stick skills – passing, catching, ground balls, dodging, and shooting
Lacrosse IQ – understanding positioning, spacing, rules, and in-game decisions
Confidence – positive coaching and reps to help players believe in their abilities
Tryout readiness – small-sided games and clear guidance on what’s next

Our Coaches
Launch is led by experienced South Bay coaches — including former and current college players who know what it takes to reach the next level. They know how to break things down, build players up, and meet every boy where he’s at.

Boys in grades 3–8
Players newer to the game with some beginner or rec experience
Families looking for structured, high-quality training without a full club commitment (yet)
Any boy who wants to get better, faster, and stronger in the sport
